When Hess brought “red” back to the Hess Toy Truck Line with the new 2015 Hess Fire Truck & Rescue Ladder, we took a pleasant journey down memory lane to 1986 when Hess released a beautiful red fire truck.  The vintage 1986 Hess Fire Truck raised the bar for quality toy trucks in that era. This Hess Fire Truck is a coin bank that has many clever features including a 3-section extendable ladder that swivels 360 degrees.  It has working headlights, taillights, and a flashing red light on the cab all controlled by a switch.

Other distinctive features include amazing chrome accents on the front, sides, and wheels.

Red Rover Gold: There were also a rare number of these trucks that were released with GOLD tinted chrome accents. We have set aside 5 of these GOLD chrome tinted editions that we will mix in the 2015 holiday shipments.
