Hess 2003 18 Wheeler Truck and Race Cars

Description

The 2003 Hess 18 Wheeler Truck and Race Cars introduced their first ‘reverse pull’ friction motors on the two sleek formula-style race cars.  The Indy-style racecars sported working headlights and taillights and have racecar drivers at the wheels of the two matching green racecars.  The big free rolling double decker 18 wheeler had running lights, front and rear lights, an internally lit trailer with side windows, vertical rear doors and a pull out ramp on the side. Hess made 1,600,000 of these trucks.

Please note that 2 types of plastic were used to assemble the 2003 Hess Trucks.  Some of the trucks came from Hess with two-toned assemblies that included a mix of white and gold-toned parts. In addition to the mixed assemblies there are some of these Hess Truck sets that shipped with toys that had all white, or all gold-toned assemblies.  This has no effect on the toy functions and the toy is still in brand new condition.

Please note that batteries not included.  Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.
