Continuing with the coin bank function, the bright red 1986 Hess Fire Truck had many clever features that included as a 3-section extendable ladder that swiveled 360 degrees, and covered the coin slot on top of the fire engine. It had working headlights, taillights, and a flashing red light on the cab of the fire truck, all controlled by a switch. There were 1,000,000 toys made for the 1986 holiday season. Other distinctive features included black rubber tires with the Hess name on them and amazing chrome accents on the front, sides, and wheels.
Please note that batteries not included. Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.
