COMPLETE: All parts present. Box and inserts, battery card complete. This very collectible vintage 1978 Hess Toy Truck is in excellent condition with all parts, chrome parts present and lights working.  Carton is complete with inserts and battery card. There are some blemishes on the paper decals.  See gallery photos for detail.

The box and inserts rank a 9.9 / 10. Box has no tears and box structure is sound with corners in excellent shape. No writing or marks on the top or inside of collectible carton. Vintage carton shows normal shelf wear and some stains on the top of the box. There is a small mark on the side of the box. See gallery photos for detail.

Please note that batteries not included.  Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.

Overall this is an excellent 44 year old Vintage Hess Collectible Truck that is worthy of your collection.

(RARE: ONLY 1 TOY LEFT) -Complete. Highly collectible. A chrome grill and bright red wheels are outstanding features on the 1978 Hess Oil Tanker. Even detail on the tires was enhanced with lettering that read, “Amerada Hess.”  Dark green, white, and yellow color accents mark the livery on this attractive truck.  There are Hess decals on the rear (smaller decal on 1978 model) and sides of the trailer and the tractor doors.  In addition to working headlights and taillights there is a removable hose on the tanker trailer. There were 600.000 of these toys made in 1978.

DETAILS: Complete with all packing and battery card. Please note that because this toy is over 44 years old there are normal signs of aging and the carton will show dents, stains, and minor tears. Overall the structure of the box is solid. Feel free to request actual photos of the item to ensure it meets your expectations. Battery compartment clean. Top and bottom inserts present. Bottom of box shows some wear, overall condition very good.
