This is an exceptional 1966 Hess Voyager Ship, complete with solid box, inserts,  and all of the pieces present. Lights tested and working (see photos). Overall condition of this toy is excellent given the fact that its almost 50 years old. Some yellowing and chips on decals but overall very collectible condition.

Description

The third year the company issued a tanker ship instead of a truck. This detailed replica of the real Hess Voyager that was launched in 1962 features working port, starboard, bow, and stern lights.  A switch mounted on the deck of the tanker controlled these red and green lights. Remarkable detail is seen in the delicate anchors, deck features, flag, and propellers on the toy.  Only 150,000 were manufactured. These toys are extremely rare and difficult to find complete with all of the parts and it’s original box.

Please note that batteries not included.  Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.

DETAILS: The vintage ship that we have available shows normal signs of aging with some yellowing and chips on decals. It has the original box with normal signs of aging with some yellowing, small tears, and cosmetic blemishes to the box. The decals on the ship are present with typical signs of aging.  Two of the three inserts are present.  Deck parts are all present and lights all working.
