1968-69 Hess Truck

A white bottom platform differentiated the 1968 and 1969 Hess Tanker Truck from its 1967 predecessor.  The back of the 1969 box used the words “Woodbridge, N.J.“ instead of “Perth Amboy.”  Only 250,000 trucks were manufactured in 1968.  In 1969 a very limited edition of 10,000 toys were manufactured but not sold to the public.  While both years are rare finds, the 1960 toy is extremely rare.
