They made 400,000 in 1972 and 400,000 in 1974, with no production in 1973. The design of the tanker truck was very similar to the 1968 with the exception of the more rounded trailer feet.<\/p>\n<p>Another subtle but important distinguishing feature of the 1972 model is the catwalk on the top of the tanker does not go all the way to the end of the tanker giving it a small ridge or lip on the very back of the tanker.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that batteries not included. \u00a0Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.<\/p>\n<p>DETAILS: <span style=\"color: #373737;\">\u00a0Complete with all inserts. There was no battery card issued with the 1972 Hess Truck. Battery compartment clean. Inserts present. Bottom of box shows some wear, overall condition very good.
