The 1974 Hess Tanker Truck: (SKU A2)\u00a0<\/strong> Hess brought back the 1968 Tanker Truck in 1972 and 1974. They made 400,000 in 1972 and 400,000 in 1974, with no production in 1973. The design of the tanker truck was very similar to the 1968 with the exception of the more rounded trailer feet.<\/p>\n

Another subtle but important distinguishing feature of the 1974<\/strong> model is the catwalk on the top of the tanker goes all the way to the end of the tanker making it flush\u00a0on the very back end of the tanker top.<\/p>\n

Please note that batteries not included. \u00a0Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.<\/p>\n

DETAILS: \u00a0Complete with all inserts. There was no battery card issued with the 1974 Hess Truck. Battery compartment clean. Inserts present. Bottom of box shows some wear, overall condition very good. This is an absolute outstanding specimen! \u00a0For a vintage, highly collectible truck, the box is is 10\/10 condition. Crisp corners. Clear graphics. No tears or significant blemishes. Even original inserts are in perfect condition. The truck is 9.5\/10.0 condition with all parts present and in excellent shape. \u00a0All decals are in tact and all lights work with the exception of the tail light on the driver’s side<\/span> which may have a loose wire or the bulb may need replaced. Returns for the non working driver’s side tail light are not accepted because it is disclosed prior to your purchase. Because of the age and fragile nature of these vintage trucks, we do not attempt to disassemble or repair them. See last picture in gallery group.<\/p>\n
