Another Hess Toy Series first was introduced with The 2000 Hess Helicopter with Motorcycle and Cruiser. This marked the first time that a helicopter was used as the main carrier in the toy set, vs. the traditional Hess truck. This very popular toy featured a multi-functioning helicopter that had both internal and external lights and emergency flashers. Functional aspects included 2 spinning rotors, rear and side doors that opened, push button pullout ramps to offload the motorcycle and cruiser, and a pivoting search light. The cruiser and motorcycle were lighted and had friction motors. Hess manufactured 1,800,000 of these toys. Because of it engaging functions, this toy-set remain very popular today.<\/p>\n

Please note that it is very common for this toy to come in two shades: yellow\/gold tone and white because of \u00a0the types of plastic used in manufacturing. Most of the toys in this series will be one or the other shade, but on occasion you will find toys that have both shades on various assembled components. \u00a0This is not unusual and has no effect on the toys lights and motion functions. \u00a0Batteries are not included. Toy carton will show normal shelf wear.<\/p>\n
